Fred Palmer joins BFB as a Regional Vice President

CHARLOTTE, NC Fred Palmer has joined BFB as a Regional Vice President. Fred is based in Florida and will consult nationally with nonprofit organizations, including Credit Unions, hospitals, colleges, and universities to help implement and manage nonqualified benefit plans.
For the past 10 years, Fred has assisted financial institutions with nonqualified plans and BOLI transactions as a Senior Consultant with NFP Executive Benefits. He also pioneered Association Banking for SunTrust, served as Senior Vice President and Area Executive in Trust and Investments for Barnett Bank, and has served in many leadership roles with foundations and nonprofit organizations. With over 30 years of financial services experience, Fred is uniquely qualified to serve as a trusted partner in creating successful executive benefit plans.
Fred holds a BS in Finance from Florida State University. He is married with three children and is a 30 year resident of Tallahassee, Florida.
